About the Trust
The British Overseas Railways Historical Trust (often referred to as ‘BORHT’) has a number of aims including the study of the history of railways in the Commonwealth (excluding the UK itself), the study of the British contribution to railways in other parts of the world, locating and preserving existing archive material and making it available to researchers and historians, and preserving relevant artefacts (including locomotives and railcars) as possible museum exhibits.
